Maryland Deathfest (MDF) is North America's largest extreme metal festival, held annually in Baltimore, MD over Memorial Day weekend. Founded in 2003, it showcases the best underground heavy metal bands from around the world, spanning death metal, black metal, doom, grindcore, and more. It attracts attendees from over 40 U.S. states and 25 countries.
